Hey Summer. Ive been teeter tottering on whether to join or not given my current workload with school and work (I am new teacher so you can imagine how it is). Are you planning of doing something similar again later? I’m sorry if you answered this somewhere else I promise I looked.
Oh my gosh, you and me both David. This is the biggest project I've ever taken on, and if I knew just how big at the beginning I doubt I would have had the courage to do it, but here we are, all these years later! Nearly there!!
You’ve tempted me plenty but I’m wondering if it makes sense to enroll in this course given that I am currently based in India. What with time difference and all 🤷♀️
Thanks Tarini! About 30% of the workshop participants are in the Europe/Africa time zones, a smaller portion are in Asia, Australia or New Zealand, and the rest are in the US or the Americas. I'm planning to schedule some of the write-alongs to better suit different time zones, and the workshops will always be recorded for later viewing.
Sounds good. If you do decide to join, you can just start from where you are. Maybe give the Day 1 post a scan to get the general idea, and email the me at participant email address (contained at the bottom of the posts) with any questions to have to help you get situated.
That idea of look out to draw things to you rather than excavating what's within is very appealing. How useful would the programme be for a fiction writer? Is enrolment still open? Thanks!
Hi Melissa! Enrollment is still open. I know there are multiple fiction writers taking the workshop, and I have not gotten any complaints so far. However the workshop is geared towards nonfiction, essays and memoir more than fiction. You may have to adapt some of the prompts in your head if you want to be writing fiction actually during the workshop. I certainly think that the exercises would help one's writing in general, regardless of the genre one was writing in. It's a fantastic group so far!
Hi! Will the annual plan be available indefinitely? Thinking of trying the monthly plan and switching if I see that I can fit it into my schedule. Thanks!
I really admire your dedication and passion for fostering a supportive writing community through the workshop, "A Year of Writing Dangerously." It's wonderful to see such a positive and encouraging space being created for writers to thrive and grow.

I may do another workshop that launches in the summer, but the focus will be different from this one.
Amazing to heard Parisian Sphinx is almost done!
It's been such a journey – thinking back, I can't even recall how I first found your Indigogo funding page 😂
I'm sure this will deserve all the accolades and more!

This is great! Thanks for the opportunity, Summer--when is the latest I need to decide? I will give it serious thought
You can sign up at any time! Even just doing four of the five sessions would be beneficial, in my opinion.
Thanks Summer, really helpful. Will do a little mulling!

I think so!
Summer: I only now became aware of this workshop--does it make any sense to join at this late date?
Will do!
