Definitely well worth the time and effort. The camp has been very helpful to me. It kicked me in the ass and got me back to writing more. She's the best.
I have been writing religiously with the '5 things' a day prompt since the Essay Camp, which helps me discover what I want to talk about, but too afraid. When I started I was struggling to think of topics to write about, I think because there's one topic I was too afraid to be vulnerable to write about. Although I have not yet fully finished an essay for Essay Camp, I have kept writing and actually structured my thoughts into a rough outline for a book, which right now I have just over 6,700 words written. I have not yet added in much of the 'bulk' of the 5 things per day for the last month, which I will begin to incorporate into this outline for a memoir I would ultimately like to publish so the world can hear my story. Thank you Summer for everything you are and everything you've done to help me.
Yes, already published one, and I'll publish the next one by the end of the week. 🖖🏽
Juan! I was so beyond delighted to listen to your podcast talking about Essay Camp!

Not sure if "she" is me or the camp (or your ass?) but I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed Essay Camp!
It is the camp and you!
Words are thoughts written down. Day emerges from the dark, illuminates a little, or a lot, moves on and becomes dark again. So it is with life.
End.
Very true.
If we wanted to "turn it in" is there already a working method for that that you've used for previous ECs?
The comments on Day Five are a good place to share!
Sounds good, thank you ❤️

Interesting idea, maybe I should go through it too.
