Hello my dear readers,
This year, as I’ve had to step away from Substack a bit, one of the many things that has also lain dormant has, of course, been Essay Camp. Right now I’m still not able to return full force to the newsletter or my teaching, alas (soon I hope!) but I’ve been re-sharing some old posts that I’ve shined up a bit. My question for you is this: would you still like an Essay Camp? Do you still think it is needed? I got so much great feedback, but also comments saying it isn’t needed, since other things that are similar exist, have existed, will exist, etc. So my question to you is, since I’m doing some revising of this here online notebook of mine, would you be interested in doing an Essay Camp, maybe even this month? It wouldn’t be a groundbreaking new version, but sometimes just the container and the camaraderie is enough.
So what do you think? For those of you who write, please let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Yes!!!!!!!! I loved doing essay camps with you. There are similar things out there, but nothing quite like yours, and that format worked so well for me.
