Summer, Thank you for this excellent tutorial and all the pragmatism and wisdom in it. πŸ™

β€œAll you can do is write the book that you want to write, that you need to exist. Exert the brute force necessary to write the book of your dreams. Write the book that you wish existed, but which does not. It is hardest to go wrong with that.”

I have no plans whatsoever, at this time, to try and hawk a book of my own. I don't have one! But. Someday I may, I might; it could happen! I appreciate the primer. Duly noted & saved.

Thanking you!!

Thank you Summer for the insightful article. The only thing I would add is that in this publishing climate, every agent who thought my latest non-fiction proposal and fully written and edited manuscript was worthy said that I needed at least 10,000 followers/subscribers before they would take my project - because, an unknown author has to sell the book themselves. So yes it is a matter of time - time to build a following through my Substack and my podcast for The GIft of Need. And as a woman of a certain age, time isn’t on my side!
