Thank you Summer appreciate your thoughts. I think your point about the writer mind being on and implementing the regular practice is very important in developing my writing abilities
Do you write things down at the moment or record it in some way? I can never remember and with as much detail as the moment when I wait until the end of the day.
I loved reading these. And so many were relatable. I also found this idea inspiring and will try it as a way to escape from my temporary writers block. Thanks
Thank you for your writing here, that gave me an idea, going back in time. About the Louvre, brought back a memory.
In 1980 I visited the Louvre for two days. A friend told me about a room, or rooms, on an upper floor. He told me how to find that space. They have drawings, writings, even Daguerreotypes in there, mostly filed away. You could look at these relics. It was wonderful.
Do you know of a room like this? If so, is it open to the public?
Writing a poem about this experience. Many thanks for your Writer’s Notebook. Your writings and artwork are quite inspiring!
Beautiful writing.
Bravo. I wish my own journal writing were as beautiful and evocative. Thanks for sharing!
Big sigh. What your words always do to my writer-heart. Like those peach-stones.
Wonderful to have found you.

So lovely. I appreciate you sharing this example at the stage they’re in. What a very helpful writing tool. Did you end up painting the plums?
Like a sketch book. With words.

I love these: strings of small observations. A practice, yes, but also form in their own right.
This was beautiful and gentle. It held me softly while I was still waking up and quietly brought me into the day
I love reading your raw words Summer. I feel so inspired afterwards. Love the details.
I so enjoy your writing. Thank you for sharing.
I love this. I see someone else’s tiny observations. It teaches me to honor my own little observations. And maybe I’ll try this practice, too.
