If any of these books sound appealing to you, I heartily recommend that you give them a read. Order them from your local brick-and-mortar bookstores, or request them at your local library.

It should come as no surprise that I, inveterate lover of vignette essays, am now a mega-fan of Beth Ann Fennelly.

I recently got to take a micro-memoir workshop with Beth Ann Fennelly and finished The Irish Goodbye last night. Heartbreaking, hilarious, and inspiring. I heartily second your recommendation.

Thank you! I really hope we can keep it going. It will require about twenty additional paid subscribers per month, so I hope we can catch up. Thank you for subscribing!

I love these book supplements. Two now. Hope they keep going for a long time!

Hope you review “Audition” by Kitamura, and Solvej Belle volumes, and “The Wall.” Love these woman interiors.

Thank you Dian, for the most part I am sticking to new releases, with books that are just coming out within a month or two (at most) of the review. If you know if any forthcoming books you’d like to see, please let me know.

I have read and loved Beth Ann’s The Irish Goodbye and her Heating and Cooling was instrumental in opening up my own micro memoir writing. All the other books are now on my TBR list. Thanks for these Recs, Summer!
